Some frequently asked questions...

How much does it cost to book The New Foundations?

We are more affordable than you might think! The costs vary depending on the location, set up, and playing times of your event. The fee will be higher during special times of the year, including Christmas and New Year. Use the "Book Us" tab to contact Keith and he will be very happy to provide you with a quote based on your requirements at the time of your enquiry.

Be assured, what you are quoted is what you'll pay, and no more.

How long do you play for?

We can do from 2 x 45 minute sets to 3 x 45 minute sets, or other combinations to meet your requirements.

Do you have a dress code?

The band dress in black suits - except Noel, who, as lead vocalist, wears something more flamboyant! (but still basically black!)

Do you provide music before you start your first set and during the break?

We can supply complimentary recorded dance music during the interval between sets, before and after the band play untill the p.a. is dismantled. Soft, background music can be played during a meal for example. We can play your choice of music if supplied on a suitable medium, e.g. Ipod, Ipad etc. Some bands will charge you more for this. We don't.

Can we see you playing live?

Certainly! Click on the "Gigs" tab to see our forthcoming 'public' bookings if you want to come along to a gig, or click on the "Music" then "Video Samples" tab to get a flavour of The New Foundations live right now!

Do you supply lighting, and if so, how much will that cost me?

Yes, we supply lighting rigs utilising the latest LED low energy, long life lighting elements that produce no heat. Many bands will charge you extra for lighting. We don't.

Do you play outside or in a Marquee?

Yes, we have extensive experience playing in both environments. We just require adequate mains power, (2 extension reels to the performance area would be ok), and obviously adequte cover for our amps, instruments etc in case of inclement weather. It's also worth remembering, that as we have our own lighting rigs, the band and dancing area will not be in darkness in a marquee or outside.

Can you provide a wireless microphone for speeches etc?

Yes. A lot of bands will charge you for the use of wireless microphones. We don't.

Do you hold Public Liability Insurance and is your equipment PAT tested?

Yes we do. £10 million Public Liability insurance, (documentation available on request), and equipment is PAT tested.
